binsec academy launches Secure Coding Lab
The binsec academy has released the new Secure Coding Training Lab. It serves as a practice-oriented training platform where developers can identify and securely remediate common security risks in web and API applications using concrete examples. Participants perform structured code reviews on a realistic sample application. The lab supports multiple programming languages and is particularly suitable for technical trainings and internal developer workshops.
In the Secure Coding Training Lab, participants work with a simulated credit card payment application, analyze its vulnerabilities, and correct the defective code. The focus is on key OWASP Top 10 risks such as injection vulnerabilities or insufficient access controls. Participants learn to identify and fix security-relevant issues directly in the code, developing the skills needed to build robust and secure applications.
